So here I am thinking that I need to put something up, and not knowing what to write. Over the last month we have been so busy, trying to finish the house, putting it on the market - and then the stress of having to keep the house SPOTLESS 24/7 - no dishes in the sink, nothing on the floors, the yard clean and tidy and the list goes on and on. Its not easy with three kids under 5 at home who like to make messes as part of their 'creative play'. Well needless to say I don't have a lot of energy left to be a productive mum doing creative learning activities - and well, it just makes so much darn mess.
Plus we have all been sick with colds as most families have recently.
We haven't heard anything about going bush and we haven't sold the house. and on that;
Do people not have any vision these days? I mean - we have a cheap home on the market with most of the expencive things done - eg kitchen, bathroom, flooring, fans, aircon, security screens, newly renovated roof. The only thing we dont have is a carport as we decided to have the cracking roof fixed instead. Now - one would think when looking in the cheaper end of the market - that there is something that thas to be done, but people want everything for nothing. So occasional comments like "it doesnt have a carport' as a reason for not buying is just ticking me off - HELLO!!! ALL THE OTHER HOMES FOR THE SAME PRICE NEED NEW KITCHENS, FLOORING AND BATHROOMS. Mine only needs a carport so which home would cost more to redo? mmmm

Maybe we arnt supposed to sell right now - it just seems like a struggle. Hopefully we will go country for 3 years, get renters in and pay off as much of the morgage that we can.

Oh poor you!! I commiserate about keeping a house spotless for potential buyers - an extremely daunting and impossible task I'd say. I like your outlook and realising that things sometimes happen and don't happen for a reason is great. We're blessed that things just seem to work out right in the end. we will be comming to brisbane so we should meet up for dinner or something (i will call you)
and then i am moving down to brisbane or the gold coast.. not sure yet but if you here of anywhere to live like YSA stuff let me know i need at the help i can get lol! miss you
