July 1st - everything changed

Oh boy - what a roller coaster ride this has all been. Just about to put a contract on a house we LOVED - subject to sale of ours of course. Only to find that the banks have changed how much they loan people on July 1st. We can no longer loan as much as before and therefor can not buy the house we want, which means we cant sell our house. In the end after paying commissions etc - couldnt afford to buy something that much better than what we are in, and it would probably need work done. So here I am, feeling a little like a bunch of nerves and emotions and using it as a great excuse to just binge out on all the food i try to restrict myself of usually. Love the chocolate. So back to square one. It just makes we want to cry! argh. Oh well, plan B. Out country we go. I have always dreamed of being a redneck. heh heh.

So the plan is now, to see where Jason will be posted and maybe try prior to posting, to ask around for country stations (and free police housing) and head on out for our AUSTRALIAN COUNTRY ADVENTURE!!! Sounds exciting doesnt it - mmmm we will see.

We will try and join in and embrace the country spirit and buy some chickens, a dog, and knock a tooth or two out.
Anyone need to rent a house for a few years?

here a a couple of pics - i didnt want to post one of me sitting on the couch feeling depressed and shoving my face full of chocolate lol

Awww that's so sucky:( What a let down.... I guess it's hard to think about now but heavenly father works in mysterious ways maybe the time isn't right and later on down the track you find the perfect house! Not that me saying that made you feel any better? ..lol...
If it make you feel any better I don't know when we'll ever be able to buy a house! lol

we have money now so we are able to finish our house asap, hopefully we wont have the same problems with the bank and tomo's 25% share in the business will help! xoxo

Oh Peta you poor thing! I know that feeling where you just want it to all fall into place - and it won't.

We would love to buy a house but move lots so it's not going to happen for a LONG time. I want to know where we will be living for the next 10+ years. To plant a vegetable garden and a tree's and stuff that we will actually see grow.

Some friends of mine went country and her was a copper too and they had a great time. Schools are smaller so that's a plus and people are friendlier and a lot more opportunity for community involvement. You're going to do great.

SO glad you have the internet for shopping fix too if you need. Praying that he gets a great spot!
