FLU, DOG, A BROKEN CAR and GALL STONES.

When people start emailing or face booking me and saying - its time to update your blog, I know I have left it too long. So this post is dedicated to Auntie Sue and Kristel. he he

The last couple of months have been VERY busy and might I even add - difficult!

I know that tough things happen, and then life returns to normal, right? Well since we didnt sell the house in July, its just been one difficult thing after another, and it doesnt look to be slowing down. I have tried positive thinking and fear I am not very good at it as just around the corner is the next difficulty! Let me give you a run down:

1. Couldn't sell the house due to the banks changing their mind on how much to lend us.
2. Tyre on the car got something in it and went flat on the way to church.
3. I get the most awful pain in my stomach since having kids, I pass out in the car a few times, get to hospital only to have it subside and no one knows what it is and is too busy to check it out, including me lol
4. We all get a terrible FLU (dare I say swine flu, that i was exposed to in my hospital visit) and are all sick for 2 weeks.
5. Then the dog gets sick with a bronchial infection. (dare I say from our sickness?)
6. The car decides to stop in traffic and not move, and needs to go in for an auto transmission service, only to still be sitting at the shop a week later because they are too busy.
7. I decide to take matters into my own hands to check out this stomach thing, and go and get a scan. The lady doing the scan said I most likely don't have gall stones as my age and weight are not typical for it. Then soon as she touched my stomach said 'oh goodness you do have gall stones and they are massive!' You will need surgery for those.
8. Might be going country with hubby's work. We were told it was confirmed and approved and then they took it all back saying, well maybe, send us a report stating where you want to go and we will consider it!

So here I am in limbo. So we are waiting with these questions... Are we going country? Will I get my operation before we go country? WILL I EVER GET MY CAR BACK?

Its funny though, through the stress, there is a certain calm. We are reading scriptures more, and are kinder and dare I say, learning patience. Now something just stood out to me that I didn't realise before.

I WAS ONLY JUST PRAYING TO LEARN TO BE PATIENT A FEW MONTHS BACK.

Do I only have myself to blame??????

It's great to see a new post! How does the saying go... "It never rains, it pours!" Positive thinking is hard to do - I tend to go into the "wo is me" thinking which is neither helpful nor uplifting. Hope you get some answers soon, living in limbo is the pits. A bush adventure could be quite fun though! (perhaps only for those who don't have to do it?!?!?! I like the idea myself but am sure it'll be tougher than I would think). Good Luck with your operation - that certainly doesn't sound like fun. XX

Thanks for updating your blog, but it's all bad news. I think I'll read Katies instead. Only joking.

Oh Peta that all sounds rough! Fingers crossed things turn around for you.

I saw a great quote the other day that said "Life happens between the trapeeze bars" - it's so true!

I had a terrrible scarey pain the other day and thought it was appendicitis or something.. wonder if it was gall stones?? I rang ken to come home from work, I could barely walk, was all hot, had this twisting type pain in my stomach and back... It was TERRIBLE.. then it went totally away after about 2 hours... I was so scared.. then ken got home and the pain disappeared.. I swear the guys at his office must think I am crazy
