So, I was in Chermside this morning and i heard in a store, who had the radio on that there was a dust storm headed up from Sydney. But i had no idea what it would be like until we drove out of the carpark. EVERYTHING HAS A GOLDY HAZE!! I dont remember anything like it. When we got home, i had left the windows open, everything is dusty. Its like someone has walked in (after i did a full clean this morning mind you) and dusted for fingerprints or something. Its nuts.
Anyway, everything is windy, dusty and the air tastes like dirt. I did try and take a picture but my camera tries to correct the gold haze and it doesnt look anything like it really does. So I wont post it. MAN - i will have to mop and clean the furniture when its gone. :(

I have been seeing the photos on ninemsn - that is so crazy. Why is it happening did they say?
you know,i have no idea! They just say 'Sydney is having a dust storm - it should be here in a few hours" and I havent had the news on in ages to really find out....
It makes the sky look orange and the clean up the next day is aweful.....ugh!!
